I personally belive it is on-line bookablity that is the weak link in the serviced apartment industry, to many of the corporate housing chains shy away from using newer technology such as XML to allow online bookability of their apartments.  Does anyone know why that is?

I believe it is because serviced apartments are usually booked for longer than  a few days like hotels are and subsequently it makes it harder for the company to place bookings as they cannot be moved around as easily.
